The Greenport Mural Project is a community-driven initiative to bring murals to the Village of Greenport. Our mission is to curate and coordinate murals that reflect Greenport’s rich history, environment, creativity, community spirit, and diverse present. By collaborating with artists, businesses, and residents, we aim to revitalize or elevate public spaces into works of art that celebrate—and help preserve—Greenport’s unique character while fostering pride, connection, and an appreciation for the arts.
The work of the committee is to facilitate the creation of murals in Greenport by bringing together conversations between building owners, artists, Village government, neighbors, donors, and community stakeholders.
